You'll have an opportunity to specialize in one of four areas: Business Analytics, Global Finance, Global Supply Chain Management, or International Business. If you prefer, you may combine electives for a General Management option.
In January, you'll participate in the Global Immersion Experience, during which you and your classmates will travel abroad, and meet with senior executives at international firms and/or governmental policy makers. Previous years' students have traveled to Chile, Panama, China, Germany, and most recently to Iceland.
The cohort / study team difference
All Bryant One-Year MBA students are members of a cohort, moving through the entire program with the same group of students. This community of peers will offer support and encouragement, and will become the foundation of your professional network.
You need to have successfully completed coursework in macroeconomics, microeconomics, and statistics at the undergraduate or graduate level. If you have not yet taken the prerequisite courses, please consult with the Graduate School staff about alternatives.
In addition to the application form, you will need to submit a statement of objectives, current resume, one faculty recommendation, official transcripts from all colleges / universities you have attended, your official and your application fee (waived for Bryant alumni).
An international applicant is defined as any person that requires a student visa to study in the United States. International applicants are eligible to apply to any graduate program, provided they have successfully completed the equivalent of a United States bachelor’s degree and have the appropriate diplomas and/or satisfactory results on transcripts or leaving examinations from the country in which the degree was earned. International applicants must complete all program-specific application requirements as well as all additional international application requirements outlined below.
All applicants whose primary language is not English (or for whom English is not one of their primary languages) are required to submit proof of satisfactory English proficiency. Exceptions will be made if the applicant completed an undergraduate or graduate degree at a regionally accredited institution within the U.S., or if the language of instruction for an earned undergraduate or graduate degree was entirely in English. At this time, the only acceptable forms of proof for English proficiency are the TOEFL, IELTS, and Duolingo English Test, with minimum score requirements listed below.
- TOEFL iBT: 85
- IELTS: 6.5
- Duolingo English Test: 105
An official score report must be sent directly from the examination organization to the Graduate Programs Office at Bryant University (TOEFL School Code: 3095).
