Bryant plays a leadership role in analytics education. Our courses use real-world data provided by strategic partner organizations.
Business Analytics

Overview

Working with faculty from Bryant’s Advanced Applied Analytics Center, you will study key areas in applied analytics including data analytics methods and tools, data warehousing, data mining techniques, predictive analytics, big data and visualization. You will gain experience with advanced analytic tools from companies such as SAS® and Teradata®.

Upon completion of the program, you will receive a certificate from Bryant University in data analytics. Three of these courses also may be applied toward a Business Analytics specialization in the MBA program.

Please note: GMAT scores are not required for admission to this program

Applicants come from a variety of professional disciplines and have a strong interest in advancing their knowledge of analytics. Applicants without prior coursework in statistics or quantitative analysis may be required to complete an online self-paced statistics primer before starting the program.

This is a part-time evening program. Students take two courses in spring semester and two courses in summer semester. Classes begin in January.

An international applicant is defined as any person that requires a student visa to study in the United States. International applicants are eligible to apply to any graduate program, provided they have successfully completed the equivalent of a United States bachelor’s degree and have the appropriate diplomas and/or satisfactory results on transcripts or leaving examinations from the country in which the degree was earned. International applicants must complete all program-specific application requirements as well as all additional international application requirements outlined below.

Transcripts

Applicants that have completed a degree outside of the United States or Canada must have a course-by-course evaluation of their transcript(s) completed by an evaluation company approved by the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES). A list of approved organizations can be found at http://www.naces.org. The evaluation must be certified and in English, with individual grades and cumulative GPA converted to a 4.0 scale. If the evaluation includes a certified copy of the undergraduate transcript, an official transcript is not required to be separately sent by the institution. Submission of falsified documents is grounds for denial of admission or dismissal from the University.

English Proficiency

All applicants whose primary language is not English (or for whom English is not one of their primary languages) are required to submit proof of satisfactory English proficiency. Exceptions will be made if the applicant completed an undergraduate or graduate degree at a regionally accredited institution within the U.S., or if the language of instruction for an earned undergraduate or graduate degree was entirely in English. At this time, the only acceptable forms of proof for English proficiency are the TOEFL, IELTS, and Duolingo English Test, with minimum score requirements listed below.

  • TOEFL iBT: 85
  • IELTS: 6.5
  • Duolingo English Test: 105

An official score report must be sent directly from the examination organization to the Graduate Programs Office at Bryant University (TOEFL School Code: 3095).
