The Bryant One-Year MBA offers the in-depth and practical education necessary for students who have little or no professional experience. This full-time program provides a foundation in leadership and management that is important in all professional areas and leads to career-long success. All undergraduate majors can successfully complete the program.

Two distinct experiences will prepare you for the responsibilities of leadership:

  • The Management Skills for Career Success course offers practical experience in career planning, interviewing, negotiations, and project management. This intense two-week experience includes hands-on exercises that stimulate real business problems, insights from business executives, and skills development;
  • The MBA Business Practicum is a team-based experience where you solve real business problems in a corporate environment. Industry executives serve as mentors throughout the course and beyond. The skills you build and the relationships you develop during the practicum will give you a competitive advantage.

The program sets itself apart with globally-focused specializations and support that is second to none, with caring professors committed to your immediate and long-term success, and a set of peers called your cohort who move with you throughout the program and become the foundation of a professional network.

Global specializations

You'll have an opportunity to specialize in one of three areas: Global Finance; Global Supply Chain Management; or International Business.

In January, you'll participate in the Global Immersion Experience, during which you and your classmates will travel abroad, and meet with senior executives at international firms and/or governmental policy makers.

The cohort / study team difference

All Bryant One-Year MBA students are members of a cohort, moving through the entire program with the same group of students. This community of peers will offer support and encouragement, and will become the foundation of your professional network.

Our distinctive cohort approach is highly praised by our graduates. MBA students are hand-picked for specific study teams, known as a cohort. This team move through the program as a cohesive group, completing all core courses as part of a single team before becoming separated in electives. Students said this bonding approach promotes interaction and helps students develop deeper relationships and networks – not only during the program but after graduation.
